Sato Kogyo Co., Ltd., established in 1862, is one of Japan's oldest general contractors. The company expanded its operations to Malaysia in 1971 with the establishment of a Malaysian branch. In 1991, Sato Kogyo (M) Sdn. Bhd. was incorporated as a locally registered entity to cater to the ever-growing number of investments from Japan in Malaysia.

Commensurate with the varied range of investments from Japan and our G7 contractor license, our extensive portfolio of over 250 projects, amounting to RM 5 billion*, includes manufacturing facilities for semiconductors, food, electronics, automotive, oil & gas, and chemicals. We also deliver civil engineering and infrastructure projects, offices, commercial complexes, residential properties, airports, as well as golf courses, schools, embassies, and recreational facilities.

With integrity and excellence at the core of everything we do, we continue to shape the construction landscape across Malaysia and beyond with our network of regional offices in Singapore, Thailand, and Cambodia.
